Steroid plaster launched

Patients with steroid-responsive skin disorders have a new treatment option in the form of Betesil.

Each colourless, adhesive 7.5cm x 10cm plaster contains 1.845mg betamethasone, as the valerate salt. Up to six plasters can be applied daily, and treatment may be continued for up to 30 days.

The product is particularly suitable for chronic plaque psoriasis localised in hard-to-treat areas such as the knees and elbows.
