Seasonal flu vaccines

Vaccines for the current flu season have been released.

Agrippal, Begrivac, Fluvirin (Novartis), Enzira (Wyeth), Fluarix (GlaxoSmithKline), Imuvac, Influvac (Solvay) and Viroflu (Sanofi Pasteur/MSD) now contain B/Brisbane/60/2008-like strains as their influenza B component, in line with WHO and EU recommendations for the 2009/2010 season.

The two influenza A components in the vaccines remain unchanged.
