New strength of Micardis Plus

Boehringer Ingelheim has launched an additional strength of the angiotensin-II antagonist/diuretic combination Micardis Plus (telmisartan/hydrochlorothiazide).

The new Micardis Plus 80mg/25mg tablet strength is indicated in patients whose BP is not adequately controlled on Micardis Plus 80mg/12.5mg or in patients who have been previously stabilised on telmisartan and hydrochlorothiazide given separately.

Micardis Plus is also available as 40mg/12.5mg and 80mg/12.5mg tablets.
