The decision to include this latest MIMS comparison table was based on findings from a recent survey to ascertain what type of table users would find most useful. Of 337 respondents, 50% voted for a table comparing headache and/or migraine treatments.

The table includes generic and branded preparations available to prescribe on the NHS for the treatment and prophylaxis of migraine, including 5HT1 agonists (triptans), CGRP antagonists and beta-blockers. Dosage information and price is listed for each product.

The migraine table is available online and in the next print issue of MIMS, arriving this month.

A table summarising hayfever treatments also featured highly among the survey responses and was added to the March print issue of MIMS.
