GSK launches combined Hib/Meningitis C vaccine

GSK has launched Menitorix, a combined conjugate vaccine that provides protection against invasive diseases caused by Haemophilus influenzae type b (Hib) and Neisseria meningitides serogroup C (MenC).

Menitorix can be used both in the primary vaccination of infants from two months to 12 months, and as a booster in children who have previously completed a primary immunisation series with Menitorix or with other Hib or MenC conjugate vaccines.
