Flo-Tone MDI: inhaler training device

Clement Clarke has launched Flo-Tone MDI, a dual spacer and training device designed to encourage correct technique in patients using pressurised metered dose inhalers (pMDIs).

Flo-Tone MDI is suitable for patients from the age of 8 years

It can be used with Trainhaler or other placebo pMDI for training purposes under the supervision of a healthcare professional. The device gives an audible signal when the correct flow rate is achieved, helping to co-ordinate actuation of the aerosol canister and encouraging correct inhalation.

Flo-Tone MDI is available in regular (barrel-shaped) or circular formats to fit mouthpieces of all common pMDIs.
