The at-a-glance resource includes details of:
  • When each vaccine is required by age;
  • Which brands are recommended for NHS use;
  • How to administer multiple vaccinations in a single appointment;
  • What to do if the vaccination history is unknown or unreliable.

The new resource is based on the most up-to-date information from the Green Book and the Health Protection Agency.

Included in the table is the recently updated recommendation to use Gardasil in place of Cervarix for all courses of HPV vaccination starting from 1 September 2012. Clinicians are reminded that any courses of vaccination started before this time should be completed using Cervarix.
