Betaferon use in adolescents

The SPC for Betaferon has been updated removing the recommendation that Betaferon (interferon beta-1b) should not be used in children under 18 years.

Limited published data suggest that the safety profile in adolesecents between 12–16 years is similar to that seen in adults. Betaferon is not recommended in children under 12 years.
