MIMS Dermatology

MIMS Dermatology is a biannual medical journal for healthcare professionals with a special interest in dermatology, whether GPs with a special interest, GPs, nurses or consultant dermatologists.

Articles from MIMS Dermatology are now available on mimslearning.co.uk.

MIMS Dermatology was launched in 2005 in response to the DoH guidance on GPs with a special interest, which encouraged GPs to provide services within the community.

Twice a year, MIMS Dermatology brings you news, expert opinions, articles on topics such as atopic eczema, psoriasis, acne and skin cancer, pictorial case studies and test yourself MCQs, all written by experts in the field. Original submissions are welcomed from authors.

The journal has a strong advisory board whose members include:

  • Dr Anthony Bewley, consultant dermatologist, Whipps Cross Hospital, London

  • Dr Ekaterina Burova, consultant in dermatology, Bedford Hospital Trust

  • Dr Paul Charlson GPSI in dermatology, East Yorkshire

  • Dr Stephen Hayes, GPSI in dermatology, Southampton

  • Dr Ann Lonsdale-Eccles, consultant dermatologist, Southampton University Hospitals NHS Trust

  • Dr Nigel Stollery, GPSI in dermatology, Kibworth, Leicestershire

The journal is complemented by MIMS Learning, which offers free and premium educational content for GPs, nurses and other healthcare professionals, and MIMS Events.

With more specialist content than ever before, mims.co.uk is the best place for keeping up to date with all the news and clinical information that you need as a GP or other healthcare professional.
