Apixaban now 'best-value' direct anticoagulant for atrial fibrillation, says NHS England

Generic apixaban is now recommended by NHS England as the 'best value' direct-acting oral anticoagulant (DOAC) for patients with atrial fibrillation, subject to clinical suitability.
