Animal insulin to remain in UK

Novo Nordisk announced in February 2006 its intention to withdraw its animal insulin products in the UK. This has caused confusion among both patients and healthcare professionals.

In response to the uncertainty of the availability of animal insulin in the UK, Wockhardt UK has recently confirmed its intention to promote and support the continuing supply of porcine and bovine insulins for the foreseeable future.
