Rephoren

Fresenius Medical Care has launched Rephoren for hyperphosphataemia associated with chronic renal impairment in adult patients on dialysis.

Rephoren (calcium acetate and magnesium carbonate) should be taken with meals and swallowed whole to achieve the maximum phosphate binding effect.

The recommended dose is three to 10 tablets daily in divided doses, dependent on the serum phosphate level (maximum 12 tablets daily).
