Rapydan

EUSA Pharma has launched Rapydan (lidocaine, tetracaine), a medicated plaster for surface anaesthesia.

Rapydan contains 70mg lidocaine and 70mg tetracaine, and is indicated for surface anaesthesia for needle puncture in adults and children from three years of age, and for superficial surgical procedures on normal intact skin in adults.

The recommended dose is one or up to a maximum of four plasters for adults and one or up to a maximum of two plasters for children. The anaesthetic plasters must be applied 30 minutes before the procedure.
