A soft gel pessary has been approved for the treatment of vaginal candidiasis (thrush).
The Soft Gel Pessary and Cream Combi pack adds a new treatment option for women with candidal vaginitis
The new addition to the Canesten range is available alone and in a Combi Pack that also includes a 10g tube of clotrimazole 2% cream. The teardrop-shaped soft gel pessary provides an alternative to traditional tablet pessaries. It contains the same active ingredient, clotrimazole 500mg, which has a well-established efficacy and safety profile.
