The findings, presented at the recent International Forum for Mood and Anxiety Disorders in Budapest, Hungary, came from a study of 89 patients by researchers from Oulu University in Finland. They had tested the technique on 89 volunteers and found it eliminated depressive symptoms in three-quarters of them within 12 minutes of treatment.
