Monopost: first preservative-free latanoprost eye drops

Spectrum-Thea Pharmaceuticals has launched Monopost, the first preservative-free latanoprost eye drops to be launched in the UK.

Monopost is available as a pack of 30 single-dose containers which do not require refrigeration.

A preservative-free single-dose formulation of bimatoprost (Lumigan) is also now available from Allergan.

Monopost and Lumigan are indicated for the reduction of elevated intraocular pressure in adults with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension.

The drops should be applied to the affected eye(s) once daily in the evening.
