GSK has changed the colour of its LABA/corticosteroid combination inhaler Relvar Ellipta (vilanterol/fluticasone) from pale blue to yellow.

The change was made after healthcare professionals voiced concerns that the original colour of the mouthpiece cover (and the outer packaging of the lower-strength 92 microgram/22 microgram inhaler) could be confusing for patients as blue is typically the colour of short-acting reliever inhalers.
