Anafranil SR is indicated for the treatment of depressive illness and obsessional or phobic states, and for the adjunctive treatment of cataplexy associated with narcolepsy.

Anafranil SR (clomipramine) 75mg tablets have been discontinued owing to manufacturing issues. Stock of the tricyclic antidepressant is expected to last until June 2015. Prescribers are advised to select an alternative medication based on the patient’s medical needs and history.
