Actonel Combi

Procter and Gamble has introduced Actonel Combi (risedronate, calcium, vitamin D3) to the Actonel range.

Actonel Combi indicated for the treatment of postmenopausal osteoporosis to reduce the risk of vertebral and hip fractures.

One Actonel 35mg tablet should be taken on the first day, followed the next day by one calcium/ vitamin D3 sachet daily for six days.

The sequence should be repeated weekly. A 28-day pack of Actonel Combi includes four Actonel (risedronate) 35mg tablets and 24 sachets effervescent granules sachets providing 1000mg calcium and 880iu vitamin D3.
